Energy Star Certified Homes

ENERGY STAR Homes was created by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reduce residential energy consumption. To qualify for an ENERGY STAR rating, a home must be at least 15% more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code (IRC) and include additional energy savings features that make the home 20% - 30% more efficient than standard homes.

Enercept SIP homes use an average of 50% less energy than conventionally framed homes.

The ENERGY STAR Homes program provides builders and homeowners with incentives to build more energy efficient homes. Incentives for homeowners include EEMs (energy efficient mortgages) and higher home resale value. Visit the Energy Star website for details.
