Enercept Structural Insulated Panels Used In Rebuilding the Gulf Coast

The first privately owned home to be rebuilt in Waveland, MS since Hurricane Katrina was constructed with Enercept's insulated wall and roof panels.

This is the first of three Enercept projects to be built on the same city block in Waveland.

Construction on this home began on June 3rd and was completely framed-in by June 5th. (Pictured are Rose and Harvey Cooper)

Enercept flew two employees to Mississippi to aid in the construction process. They joined, Frank Bordeaux, who is the Enercept Regional Sales Manager for the Gulf Coast area and Enercept Independent Dealer, Trent Turner of Triton Builders, Bay St. Louis, MS.

"It has been a long and arduous clean up process down here," says Mr. Bordeaux, who is also a long-time resident of Gulfport, "but now we can move forward with rebuilding." Rebuilding delays were caused, in part, because new building codes had to be writen since Katrina. New structures must be built up off the ground in many areas and must be engineered to withstand stronger winds for extended periods of time.
