The pre-built nature of the Enercept system saves the builder time and virtually eliminates job site waste. All rough openings are precut and framed-in at the factory, and all electrical chases are pre-routed with the Enercept patented system. Plus, the panels are already insulated and sheathed!
Enercept offers on site technical assistance to teach first-time panel builders. Panel construction requires fewer laborers and less skilled labor than conventional framing. (SIPs are the perfect system for Habitat for Humanity and other self-help homes.)
Homeowners save on labor costs and builders have time to build more homes.
"Our home has a total of 4,700 sq. ft...I hired two people to work with me on this job. The panel assembly took one day for the bottom floor and one day for the top floor. With the many angles involved and the total feet of panel run, I was impressed.
Thank you, Enercept."

As stated by James Dulley, national energy savings columnist, "Construction is so simple that several workers can enclose a house in one weekend..." (referring to a 1,200 sq. ft. ranch style home)
In May 1997, Enercept provided panels for a school concession stand built by a Junior High building trades class. The structure is 14' x 20' and utilizes floor, wall, and roof panels. The student builders had no prior panel construction knowledge, yet completely enclosed the stand in 8 hours!
