The Enercept, Inc. Limited Residential Panel Warranty

Enercept Incorporated warrants the following regarding the workmanship, materials, and processes of Enercept residential structural insulated panels.

Enercept warrants that your Enercept structural insulated panels, herein referred to as Enercept panels, were made by hard-working South Dakotans who believe in excellence and want you to be happy with your new home.

Enercept warrants that your Enercept panels were quality checked using a rigorous quality management program during the Enercept design and manufacturing process.

Enercept warrants that the materials used in your Enercept panels conform to the rigorous standards of our own processes, our suppliers' processes, the U.S. building code approval system, and independent third party certification.

Enercept warrants that the Enercept panels used in your home won't come apart or fail due to adhesive delamination so long as the panels are installed in accordance with the specifications contained in the Enercept Construction Guide.

This warranty is good for the entire time you own your home. This warranty extends to the next buyer from ten (10) years from the date of purchase. If Enercept's panels don't measure up to these standards of workmanship and materials, the panels will be repaired or replaced at the option of Enercept. If Enercept elects to replace the panels, you will be responsible for the labor costs incurred in replacing the panels.

If your Enercept panels fail due to adhesive delamination, you must notify Enercept, Inc. at 3100 9th Avenue SE, Watertown, South Dakota 57201-9012 in writing within sixty (60) days of discovering the problem. We will then send an inspector to your home to confirm that the failure resulted from a defect in workmanship or materials. If you do not contact Enercept with sixty (60) days of discovering the problem, this warranty will not apply.

This warranty applies to Enercept's workmanship and materials. However, this warranty does not apply to damage resulting from acts of God, fire, water or flood, animal, rodent or insect damage, settlement or failure of the building foundation, alteration, misuse or abuse of materials prior to or during installation, or to damage resulting from improper installation. THIS WARRANTY REPLACES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS. Further, Enercept, Inc., shall not be liable for special or consequential damages including, but not limited to, loss of time or use of a structure constructed with Enercept panels, inconvenience, commercial loss, or other consequential damages.

To activate this warranty, you must complete the warranty form and return it to Enercept within sixty (60) days of receipt of your Enercept panels. By completing the warranty form, you are verifying that the panels were installed as specified in the Enercept Construction Guide.

This warranty is only valid on Enercept residential projects built since 1997
