2007 Annual Enercept SIPS Builder/Dealer Conference
The Annual Enercept SIPS Builder/Dealer Conference was held January 25 & 26th at the Watertown Event Center in Watertown, SD.
Over 60 builders and dealers from across the United States gathered for the annual event to hear the latest SIPS news from architects, engineers, government officials, and other professionals.
The two-day event kicked off with tours of the Enercept SIPS Manufacturing Plant and Benchmark Foam (the EPS Foam provider for Enercept SIPs). Session topics included customer service, green building, adhesives, ventilation and more. Attendees were also treated to an informal mixer on Wednesday night and an awards banquet Thursday evening.
Dave Puetz, Advanced Building Systems, Pillager, MN was recognized as the 2006 Enercept SIPS Builder of the Year during the Annual Awards Banquet. Dave was presented with Big Eagle Trophy.
Gold Circle Sales Awards were presented to Bud Cone of Cone Construction and Joe Pasma of PMI Panels, Silver Circle Sales Awards went Bill Boyd of Hypercision, Glen Hutt of G & L Enterprises and Ben Miller of Blue Ox Timber Frames.
Plaques for the "Bronze Circle Sales Award" were given to Six J's Construction, Mountain States Log Homes, Panel Crafters, Master Builders of Avon, Wind River Timber Frames, Log Home Building Services, All Star Construction, Michigan SIP Homes, Wiedrich Construction, L & L Construction and Mindt Construction.
Regional Sales Managers Neal Mack and Bernie Stone received awards for surpassing one million dollars in sales for 2006.
The 2008 Conference is slated for January 17 & 18.
